Elecnor is seeking a Project Engineer to lead the technical delivery of large-scale BESS projects. The role involves overseeing engineering design, managing subcontractors, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. Based in Adelaide with some site travel, this position offers the opportunity to contribute to Australia’s renewable energy transition through cutting-edge energy storage projects.
Prepare detailed project plans, resource allocation, and critical paths
Monitor progress, resolve issues, and implement corrective actions
Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings
Review and approve contracts, change orders, and invoices
Provide technical guidance to project teams and field personnel
Coordinate procurement for materials, equipment, and services
Define project objectives, scope, and schedules with cross-functional teams
Coordinate structural, electrical, and mechanical engineering analyses
Lead project meetings to communicate updates and align stakeholders
Develop engineering designs, specifications, and drawings
Proficient in project management software (Microsoft Project, Primavera)
Experience as a Project Engineer or similar in construction projects
Bachelor’s in engineering
