Description

The Fairbanks Community Liaison is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with communities near company operations in the Fairbanks region. This role ensures transparent communication, addresses community concerns, and supports initiatives that promote social investment and cultural sensitivity.

• Collaborate on projects that enhance local well-being and sustainability.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for community-related matters in Fairbanks.
• Ensure cultural awareness and responsiveness to local needs.
• Foster positive relationships with local communities and stakeholders.
• Share project updates and maintain open, transparent dialogue.
• Advise internal teams on community expectations and cultural considerations.
• Support community development programs and social investment initiatives.
• Address community concerns promptly and effectively.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in community relations, stakeholder engagement, or related fields.
• Strong understanding of cultural dynamics and community development practices.
• Ability to travel and work closely with local communities as needed.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Experience managing social investment programs and community partnerships.
