

Leading the commercial management of groundworks packages from pre-contract through to final account
Managing change control processes, including Compensation Events under NEC contracts
Producing and submitting applications for payment, variations, and contractual claims
Ensuring full compliance with contractual terms and internal commercial governance
Supporting and mentoring junior commercial staff where required
As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take commercial responsibility for significant groundworks packages on large-scale infrastructure and civil engineering projects. You will work closely with project and site teams while providing leadership and commercial assurance throughout the project lifecycle.
Providing commercial input to project strategy and risk management
Preparing and agreeing valuations, forecasts, and cost/value reconciliations
Procuring, negotiating, and managing sub-contractor and supplier packages
Proven experience operating at Senior Quantity Surveyor level within civil engineering or groundworks contracting
Solid contractual and commercial knowledge, with NEC experience highly advantageous
Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
Degree-qualified (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
Willing and able to work on projects across London and the surrounding regions
