Have led teams of professionals in executing wetland delineations, T&E studies, environmental permitting support, and other related studies/assessments/analyses.
Develop and assist with training/direction of CWA Section 404/401, T&E, wetland delineations, and stream assessments among other ecological support services to the larger team located within the EPP Mid-Atlantic Region.
Lead verify and/or provide other technical quality reviews of deliverables within the ecological scope of services as well as “industry” peer reviews of other discipline deliverables (cultural, geotechnical, civil, and stormwater).
The position may require fieldwork limited to either evaluating/training staff, or client facing meetings on Project sites.
Coordinate with multi-disciplinary groups outside of ecological services (i.e. cultural resources, geotechnical, civil engineering, and/or stormwater) to assist junior and mid-level staff within these disciplines understand the specifics of linear energy utility systems requirements.
Serve as an interface with clients and regulatory personnel on complex projects and other business development initiatives.
Directly or indirectly support program managers with management of the ecological scope of services including task/financial management, records, invoicing, and other business development activities include proposals, pre-qualifications, and relationship building events.
Provide knowledge and experience on working with various linear energy related infrastructures, while leveraging your experience with key energy clients to continue and/or grow opportunities within Southwestern, PA.

Proficiency in permit application preparation experience in multiple states in the mid-Atlantic area (i.e., CWA Section 401/404 permits), supporting data collection and review, and preparation of scientific documents including wetland delineation/stream assessment technical reports.
Experience working with linear energy infrastructure.
High degree of self-motivation and the ability to work independently with limited supervision, as well as in a collaborative team environment
ORAM, HHEI, QHEI certificate of training or extensive experience/knowledge to train and/or complete technical reviews.
8+ years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education of ecological services with linear energy infrastructure (i.e., natural gas, electric utilities, and/or renewables industries).
Due to the nature of work, US citizenship required.
Valid Driver’s License and as a condition of employment must be able to pass AECOM’s Motor Vehicle Records review.
Existing, mature, and tested Client relationships with an ability to generate new work for the Team, Office, and Company.
Excellent communication skills, including both oral and written (writing sample required)
PWS or other relevant certification.
Bachelor of Arts or Science degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, Environmental Studies, Biology, or related field + 8 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and /or education.
Demonstrated experience managing projects, interdisciplinary teams, and workload, as well as interface successfully with Clients
Occasional overnight travel required
Demonstrated ability to market and win work successfully and effectively
