Survey Supervisor
Mattern & Craig
Providing engineering solutions in civil, transportation, and environmental services.
Oversee surveying projects, scheduling, budgets, and team performance.
Resolve project-related concerns or problems and consults with the Principal in Charge, other Survey Managers, or Survey Supervisors when there are scheduling issues.
Assist with the preparation of fee proposals and Statements of Qualifications in pursuit of new or potential work.
Manage day to day surveying operations and workload, including scheduling both field & office work and assuring that all projects are being completed on time and on budget.
Assist in developing and maintaining project budgets and schedules, specific to surveying projects and phases. Assist in maintaining the technical and financial performance of the survey team’s budgets.

Bachelor of Science Degree in Surveying or related field from an accredited four-year college or university or an associate’s degree or equivalent.
Licensed as a Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) in the State of North Carolina or the ability to obtain such licensure within 90 days is a requirement.
A minimum of 6 years of practical field surveying and/or surveying supervision is required.
