- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to uphold HMG cyber security policy and best practice.
- Conduct ISO 27001 audits and ensure continued compliance with security frameworks.
- Act as a Defence or OGD Information Technology Security Officer (DITSO), providing expert advice and assurance to programmes.
- Support and maintain information assurance across Defence and OGD (Other Government Department) environments.
- Operate within a Warning, Advice & Reporting Point (WARP) capacity to support the monitoring and communication of security issues.
- Participate in training and professional development activities to maintain awareness of emerging threats and standards.

- Broad knowledge of HMG Cyber Security and Assurance policy and guidance.
- Familiarity with NCSC best practice and guidance.

- Experience working with CCF, CAF, and NIST frameworks.
- Demonstrable enthusiasm for Information and Cyber Security with a willingness to learn and travel when required.
