Coordinate with project management, field engineers, and subcontractors to maintain alignment with project goals
Inspect work in progress, monitor materials usage and costs, and make schedule adjustments based on progress and reporting
Oversee and manage all paving-related operations on site, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and to spec
Procure materials in alignment with the project schedule, ensuring timely delivery and availability
Provide clear leadership and support to construction crews while actively participating in construction tasks when necessary
Operate paving machinery as needed (especially for operator-level candidates)
Identify and resolve inefficiencies or delays in paving operations
Support layout and grading using GPS-enabled equipment
Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, GPS grading logs, and crew activities
This role may occasionally require working in high, precarious places; near fumes or airborne particles; and handling toxic or caustic chemicals. There is also a risk of electrical shock and vibration in certain situations.
May be required to work on project sites both within and outside of the Boise metropolitan area, or in other states.

This position requires outdoor work, with exposure to various weather conditions.
This position may require frequent travel by motor vehicle.
Strong preference for candidates with superintendent-level experience; foreman-level will be considered
Willingness and availability to travel for extended periods based on project needs
Ability to read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications
Strong leadership, communication, and crew management skills
Proficient with GPS machine control systems and layout (Trimble preferred)
Prior experience paving roads, installing curb & gutter, working with retaining walls, and other heavy civil structures
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30.
The role may involve extended hours on construction sites, necessitating physical stamina to move around the premises.
First Aid, CPR, and Respirator Training.
The ability to lift and/or move materials and tools is essential, with a maximum weight limit of 50lbs. These tasks may vary and are not required to be performed daily.
Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in heavy civil construction with a focus on paving
