Investigate system and operational deficiencies to determine corrective actions. Read and interpret project mechanical drawings, specifications, and equipment performance data to determine proper balancing techniques
Testing and adjustment of air and hydronic systems, using specialized, company provided, equipment
Maintain proper documentation of daily activities using project specific reporting procedures.
Inspect systems to verify compliance with plans and specifications and to detect potential or existing malfunctions in system components
Diagnose, Test, Adjust, and Balance system components to achieve optimal system performance
Actively participate in the company’s NEBB TAB Technician Training Program to ensure all required NEBB and company standards and practices are maintained.
Collaborate with McKenney’s construction foremen and project managers on projects to ensure timely resolution of issues
Pay attention to the details and ensure all Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing performed, as well as any issues discovered are addressed fully using clear verbiage and accompanied with supporting documentation.

Ability to climb and work at heights, walking, and standing for extended periods of time, lifting, bending, pushing, and moving objects up to 75 pounds

Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments; must also be able to drive in various conditions to conduct work
High School Diploma and/or GED equivalent
Clean driving record and MVR
Basic Microsoft Operating System knowledge (Excel & MS Word)
NEBB TAB Certified Technician or NEBB TAB Certified Professional
A minimum of two years’ experience in the TAB industry
Experience in healthcare facility testing.
NEBB TAB Certified Technician (or AABC or TABB Certification)
Five years of experience in the TAB industry
Knowledge of NFPA stairwell pressurization criteria
