Description

The Community Leasing Coordinator is responsible for aligning marketing, leasing, and renewal initiatives to achieve occupancy, revenue, and resident‑retention targets. This role oversees all leasing activities, ensures resident satisfaction throughout the lease term, and drives timely lease renewals while adhering to Greystar’s policies and standards.

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, and process applications, credit and background checks, and lease/move‑in packages.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in and coordinate maintenance to ensure units are ready.
• Monitor market and competitor trends; develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans to sustain occupancy.
• Design and execute marketing initiatives, including resident referral, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property‑management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record traffic, manage resident data, and capture demographic information.
• Maintain show‑unit quality through daily inspections, merchandising, and preparation of the leasing office.
• Follow up with prospects and new residents via email, thank‑you notes, calls, or cards to finalize leasing decisions.
• Prepare lease renewal letters, contact residents before move‑out dates, and ensure timely signing of renewal documents.
• Respond promptly and courteously to resident or owner concerns, documenting and escalating issues as needed.

Compensation ranges from $19.00 to $22.00 hourly, with eligibility for quarterly or annual bonus programs based on individual and company performance.
