Description

• Supplier Relationships: Build and maintain professional, competitive relationships with suppliers to secure the best prices and quality.
• Strategic Procurement: Develop and implement efficient procurement procedures to ensure timely and cost-effective ordering, in alignment with hotel policies and financial objectives. Familiarity with Coupa software is advantageous.
• Collaboration: Participate in hotel meetings and collaborate with the Financial Controller to align purchasing strategies with broader business objectives.
• Compliance & Reporting: Ensure all purchases and inventory are accurately reported, authorized, and compliant with hotel policies.
• Cost Optimization: Work closely with the F&B Director and Executive Chef to optimize food and beverage cost percentages and contribute to menu development.
• Data Analysis: Perform regular cost and potential analyses to maximize revenue while controlling expenses.
• Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, maintain accurate records, and oversee monthly stock takes to ensure optimal inventory control.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Excel and overall computer skills are essential.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain long-term supplier partnerships.
• A detail-oriented and organized professional with a minimum of 3 years' experience in purchasing or procurement, ideally within the hospitality industry.
• A proactive problem solver who thrives in the fast-paced demands of a luxury hotel environment.
