Contribute to the creation and maintenance of manufacturing plans as well as hold assembly readiness meetings
Attend meetings with customers and providing delivery status and commitments
Attend department meetings, manage actions and conduct follow-up with owners
Identify long lead parts such as castings, bearings, gears, etc. and gather historical lead time data ensuring orders are released in a timely fashion.
Provide status updates to the Program Managers, Value Stream Leaders and external customer
Work with internal customers such as engineering, Quality, shop floor, shipping and receiving, and other departments.
Occasionally work with external suppliers to follow up on lead times, schedule and ship dates.
Coordinate with shop floor operations supporting personnel to provide priorities

BS/BA degree with 3-6 years’ experience preferred
Ability to read and interpret blueprints a plus
You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.
Strong oral and written communication, teamwork, self-motivation, and organizational skills required
Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
In lieu of degree 8+ years of relative experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools are required
Minimum AS degree with production 4-6 years of operations/manufacturing planning or supply chain experience
Experience with SAP, or other MRP system, strongly preferred
