Familiarity with engineering software packages such as: OpenBridge Designer, MDX, AASHTOWare BrR, LPile, and more.
Experience preparing reports, plan packages, and proposals
Currently a remote position; will ultimately be 4 days in the Ft Mitchell, Lexington, or Louisville area office and 1 day work from home

Experience leading bridge projects as project manager and/or task manager
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Bridge Project Manager to help build and lead the bridge team in Kentucky for a rapidly growing firm that is headquartered in Columbus, OH. Our ideal candidate has excellent technical bridge skills and leadership abilities, and the ability to identify and lead pursuits. The position is well suited to an engineer that enjoys being the task leader on bridge projects, serving as a mentor for junior staff development, implementing design and quality control processes, and identifying potential projects to pursue. The position will have project management responsibilities and promoting the technical excellence of our bridge staff will be an important responsibility. In addition to well-established Project Managers this position is well-suited to experienced engineers who are ready to step into a leadership position.
Proven leadership abilities
Experience working on KYTC projects
Willingness to serve as primary point of contact and the face of the firm in your region
Ability to work independently preparing engineering reports, calculations, and overseeing plan development
10 to 20+ years of transportation industry experience
Licensed Professional Engineer in Kentucky
Proven hands-on experience in all aspects of bridge design projects
