- Conduct site audits and analysis, providing regular reports to project staff and stakeholders.
- Assist field engineers and superintendents with daily tasks.
- Perform quantity tracking and productivity analysis to maximize efficiency.
- Execute quantity take‑offs from construction drawings as needed.
- Review completed work with attention to detail and quality standards.
- Liaise with project staff or Aecon delegates regarding schedule updates.
- Monitor progress and help prepare job cost reports for management.
- Provide data for month‑end reconciliation.
- Maintain files and correspondence for active and completed projects.
- Offer technical support to field staff, craft, and subcontractors.
- Assist in preparing, reviewing, and approving engineering drawings and related documents.
- Gather field information and help compile project bill of materials.
- Support preparation of detailed construction and design estimates.
- Communicate with clients, contractors, and internal departments.

- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Currently enrolled in a civil engineering or construction management program.
- Basic knowledge of construction equipment, techniques, drawings, materials, and applicable standards.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Bluebeam is an asset.
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
- High work ethic, motivation, and commitment to quality.
- Flexibility to work varied schedules, including day and night shifts, to meet deadlines.
- Ability to pass a pre‑employment drug and alcohol test.
