Assistant Project Manager (Multifamily)

Description

• Assist with tracking project schedules, budgets, and procurement to maintain on-time delivery.
• Support site inspections, quality assurance, and safety compliance efforts.
• Contribute to problem-solving and proactive issue resolution on site.
• Assist in managing change orders and maintaining accurate project records.
• Support Project Managers in coordinating daily operations of multifamily construction projects.
• Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure alignment on project goals.
• Prepare project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and progress reports.

Requirements

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to join our multifamily construction team in Atlanta. This role provides hands-on experience supporting large-scale residential projects from preconstruction through closeout. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with Project Managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to help ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• OSHA 30-hour safety training preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend) is a plus.
• 1–3 years of experience in construction, preferably in multifamily or commercial projects.
