The Construction Representative II will monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with plans and specifications, document daily field work including material testing and quantity measurements, and assist with pre‑construction meetings, progress updates and conflict resolution.
Key duties also include preparing and negotiating construction change orders, communicating effectively with clients, contractors and internal teams, and supporting proposal development, budget estimating and constructability reviews.
Essential qualifications are a high school diploma or GED, prior construction experience, ability to work in various weather conditions and rough terrain, willingness to travel and work overtime, and a valid driver’s license meeting SEH’s MVR requirements; preferred qualifications include DOT certifications, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and experience with AutoCAD, MicroStation or BlueBeam.
