In this role you will assist with SHEQ compliance by conducting site inspections, audits, and preparing documentation such as risk assessments, method statements, and incident reports. You will promote a positive health‑and‑safety culture through toolbox talks, inductions, and safety briefings, and support investigations of accidents and near‑misses. Environmental responsibilities include monitoring impacts, supporting sustainability initiatives, and ensuring adherence to legislation. You will also help maintain quality standards, analyse performance data, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Graduate SHEQ Advisor to develop a career in Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality management while contributing to critical infrastructure projects in the energy and water sectors. Working alongside experienced SHEQ professionals, you will gain hands‑on experience ensuring compliance, promoting a safety‑first culture, and driving continuous improvement in all SHEQ practices.
The essential qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field, a strong understanding of SHEQ principles in construction or infrastructure, excellent communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and an analytical mindset. Desirable attributes are knowledge of ISO standards (45001, 14001, 9001), familiarity with renewable energy or water sector operations, awareness of construction safety regulations, and relevant internship or project experience.
