Eligibility requires candidates to be on track to complete an MEng in Civil Engineering by 2027, hold full right to work in the UK, and demonstrate flexibility, curiosity, and strong interpersonal skills. Diverse experiences such as hospitality work, sports leadership, or volunteering are valued, and candidates must be available for the eight‑week period running from X 2026 to X 2026.
The Summer Internship Programme offers a 12‑week, hands‑on experience that immerses interns in a structured development path toward a Chartered civil engineering career. Participants work alongside specialist engineering teams on live projects, gaining a solid foundation in engineering principles and insight into the business’s delivery of exceptional results. The role is based in the London office in Southwark, near London Bridge, Waterloo, and Blackfriars stations.
The programme provides mentorship from senior staff, programme champions, and team leaders, as well as networking opportunities with colleagues and fellow interns across disciplines. This fast‑paced environment enables interns to apply classroom knowledge to real‑world challenges, helping them stand out as they progress toward their career goals.
