Perform design tasks, such as conceptual planning, detailed grading, and drainage designs associated with civil engineering construction projects.
Develop Erosion & Sedimentation Pollution Control (E&SPC) and Post-Construction Stormwater Management (PCSM) plan sets and reports.
Identify problems, evaluate alternatives, and recommend solutions to peers and management.
Generate pipe profiles and review stormwater designs based on project constraints.
Prepare PADEP Chapter 102 and Chapter 105 permits, including: NPDES permits, General Permits, and other technical aspects of the regulatory permitting process.
Prepare stormwater management calculations including developing basin routings, channel design, and inlet capacity calculations.
Produce construction drawings, plans, and cost estimates.
Attention to detail with analytical and judgment capabilities.
Ability to interact well with coworkers, clients, and regulatory agencies.
Demonstrated AutoCAD Civil 3D skills with the ability to design from concept plans through construction plans.
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
Knowledge of local city, county, and state land use processes and regulations (PA).
0-4 years of civil engineering experience.
Conform to the company’s standard AutoCAD procedures for layering, details, etc.
Experience in land development.
Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in technical skills in stormwater management, hydraulics, hydrological analysis, grading, and other site development related designs, preferred.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
