Working within a team of 36 Surveyors based UK wide, consisting of Topographical, Measured Building & Buried Services Surveyors and UAV Pilots.
Mentoring of junior team members
Carrying out buried services surveys with respect to briefs and specifications
Working mainly on surveying projects based in England/Wales
Working within a team of Utility Surveyors based UK wide, working alongside the Topographical Surveying, UAV and MBS teams.
Processing and checking of projects, whilst rigorously adhering to, and ensuring, that the prevailing standards of WSP are adhered to.
Process fieldwork including the production of 2D & 3D CAD drawings and other survey reports.

Experience in carrying out Topographical Surveys would be advantageous but not essential·
Undertake own CPD.
Ability to work effectively alone or as part of a team·
QCF Level 3 and Level 5, in Utility Mapping and Surveying or have a specific qualification, either as part of their main degree, HND or as a specialist module in an engineering based qualification. However, candidates with suitable skills and proven experience will be considered.
Must have the skills to check and critically evaluate the work done by others, be it Drawings, Calculations or Reports.
The applicant must have a full UK driving licence as the role will require travel around the country
Ability to manage and mentor staff
Experience in the use of total stations and GNSS.
Proven experience of carrying out fieldwork for below ground utility surveys and drainage surveys on varied sites using Electromagnetic and GPR techniques. Experience of working to PAS128 standards, collecting and post-processing GPR data. Typically, 5-10 years.
Have an ability to communicate technical detail graphically and effectively to both colleagues and client teams.
