Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory, contractual, and company documentation standards (e.g., ISO 19650).
Promote a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Provide clear reporting on document control metrics, compliance, and project readiness.
Administer and optimise the use of Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS).
Maintain detailed records of audits, inspections, and compliance checks.
Champion best practices and technological advancements in document control and information management.
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of document control professionals.
Ensure data integrity, user access control, and system functionality.
Set performance objectives, conduct appraisals, and oversee training initiatives.
Drive system upgrades, user training, and support.
Conduct regular audits of document control practices.
Coordinate document reviews, approvals, and external/internal submissions.
Implement corrective and preventative actions to address non-conformities.
Identify inefficiencies and lead initiatives to streamline processes and increase automation
Develop, implement, and maintain document control procedures, standards, and systems.
Manage the full document lifecycle: creation, review, approval, distribution, retention, and archiving.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to meet information management needs.

Knowledge of database management and digital file systems.
Familiarity with ISO 19650, BS EN standards, or other industry-standard documentation frameworks.
Significant’ experience in document control, especially in a senior/managerial capacity.
Certifications in document management, quality management, or project management (e.g., ISO 9001, PMP, PRINCE2).
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Information Management, or Business Administration.
Experience in document audits, compliance assurance, and corrective action planning.
Strong background in the engineering, construction, or infrastructure sectors.
Proficient in EDMS platforms (e.g., BC, Documentum, ProjectWise, SharePoint).
Proven experience in implementing and managing EDMS solutions.
Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Demonstrated ability to lead teams and support major project delivery.
