The Maintenance Technician A works under the guidance of a Lead Technician, Fleet Maintenance Supervisor, or Maintenance Manager to repair and maintain diesel and non‑diesel equipment and trucks. Responsibilities include work on chassis components, refuse bodies with control, hydraulic and electrical systems, air brake systems, engine components, HVAC, suspension, drivetrain and steering systems.

ASE Heavy Truck certifications, LNG/CNG experience, and a Class B or higher CDL are advantageous but not mandatory, and a valid driver’s license is required.
