Ensure the cost effective management of the services on the Bromley contract, including Haulage operations known as Veolia Haulage London (VHL).
Ensure the budget is met, reviewed and costs monitored.
Manage a circa 30+ employee workforce.
Ensure effective management of any defects and ensure that all damage to property and vehicles is reported promptly.
Ensure staff are fully trained and identify areas of training needed to ensure that the workforce is competent and feels empowered and motivated.
Ensure haulage routes are efficient and provide service excellence for customers.
Work to reduce absence, accidents and injuries.
Ensure compliance on the contract.
Responsible for the safety of the workforce and ensuring a safety first culture is at the centre of activities and all HR processes are adhered to.
Hold team meetings and update the Contract Manager.
Look at data of driving hours to excel revenue from the trucks (reschedule / rerouting jobs).
Maintain and evolve a partnership approach with customers and the wider business.
Produce monthly reports on KPI’S.
