The Senior Manager, ERP Technology & Analytics plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing the enterprise‑wide ERP strategy, ensuring seamless integration across business functions and systems. This leader provides technical oversight of ERP platforms, including architecture, configuration, data integrity, and system performance, and drives innovation and integration with adjacent systems such as CRM, HRIS, and SCM.
Beyond technical oversight, the Senior Manager leads a high‑performing team of ERP specialists, integration engineers, and data analysts, managing full‑time, contract, and offshore members, setting priorities, allocating resources, and ensuring delivery against ERP CoE goals. They are accountable for mentoring talent, fostering a collaborative culture, and delivering high‑quality solutions that support operational excellence.
- Responsible for application development, support, and maintenance for the SAP Solutions portfolio including subscription products like BTP, Concur, and Ariba.
- Maintain the ERP landscape updated according to provider policies and company standards.
- Partner with key stakeholders to develop new solutions and enhancements that drive business objectives.
- Prioritize delivery of new solutions and enhancements with stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for business value through standardization, process improvement, organizational change, or technology integration.

- Resolve audit findings and vulnerabilities for all systems and technical solutions in scope.
- Serve as primary liaison with SAP account manager and SAP support teams.
- Coach and mentor team members, enabling development, training, and performance goals.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional IT and enterprise teams to build alignment and model high‑performing behaviors.

The role requires deep technical expertise in ERP systems such as RISE with SAP, middleware integration tools, and cloud‑based infrastructure, overseeing system interfaces, API management, data migration, and alignment with cybersecurity and compliance standards. Additionally, the Senior Manager leads the development of analytics frameworks that leverage ERP data to deliver actionable insights, optimize workflows, and support strategic decision‑making.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent (Required).
- Master's Degree in the above field or MBA (Preferred).
- 10+ years managing solution delivery and/or enterprise architecture (Required).
- 10+ years ERP systems management with at least 3 years in a technology leadership role (Required).
- 8+ years related supervisory or lead experience (Required).
- 3+ years experience in the energy sector or with a utility (Required).
- Deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA standard modules (FI, CO, SD, MM, WM, PM, BPC, GRC, EHS, BW) and subscription solutions (Concur, Ariba, SAC).
- Extensive experience in SAP development and maintenance, including ABAP, Java, and BASIS support.
- Proven experience managing SAP support areas, ticket tracking, and escalation processes.
- Ability to collaborate on business requirements and generate technical specifications.
- Vendor management and negotiation skills to ensure project delivery, quality, and SLA compliance.
- Experience supporting project execution under waterfall and agile methodologies.
- Strong understanding of testing processes, required inputs, and expected outcomes.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements in Mexico and the USA.
- Technical leadership with ability to communicate complex details to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Outstanding management, interpersonal, communication, organizational, and decision‑making skills.
- Strong multitasking capabilities and ability to handle shifting priorities, ambiguity, and escalations under pressure.
- Overall understanding of business objectives of service lines and Core Business Services departments.
- Standard certifications in SAP modules and products (e.g., FI, CO, PS, SD, PM, MM, WM, BPC, GRC, Concur, Ariba) (Required).
- Experience with SAP RISE (Preferred).
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
