You will use the principles of 5S+ to ensure a clean and organized work area
You will check maintain equipment to ensure compliance with ISO 9000:2000 standards
You will communicate with Production Associates, Quality Engineering Technician, Manufacturing Engineers and Test Engineers to resolve daily production and warranty issues
You will read electronic schematics to ensure products meet defined specifications
You will identify and implement corrective actions for the repair, replacement and calibration of laboratory tools and manufacturing equipment
You will report any Non-conformance items by utilizing our Quality Management Guidelines
You will recommend modifications and improvements to enhance the products for quality, reliability, manufacturability and cost effectiveness
You will exhibit a strong adherence to quality by continually seeking methods of improvement for all functions of the position. You will ensure that all products and parts adequately meet Eaton’s quality guidelines as they move throughout the production process and perform quality checks as instructed.

Experience with Microsoft Office Applications
A minimum of one year of work experience in electronics with testing and troubleshooting skills
Two years of post-secondary education with an Associate’s Degree in electronics from an accredited school
Knowledge of switchboard and switchgear operations; electrical and electronic devices
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Ability to use good judgment and problem solving skills to make informed decisions
Ability to read and understand formal, informal drawings, and/or electronic schematics
Ability to distinguish colored wiring
Basic knowledge of Electronic Test Measurement Devices
Ability to completely test and troubleshoot electronic products
Manufacturing systems knowledge (KANBAN, JIT, Production scheduling)
Demonstrated ability to take and give direction
