This role involves safely operating a tractor‑trailer, straight truck, or pup‑trailer requiring a Class A CDL on designated routes. Drivers must adhere to OSHA, DOT and all local, state and federal regulations while maintaining a clean and safe vehicle.
- Operate vehicle in compliance with OSHA, DOT, and all applicable regulations while keeping it clean and safe.
- Perform pre‑ and post‑trip inspections using the electronic Driver Vehicle Inspection Report (eDVIR) and record any issues.
- Immediately report unsafe situations, service calls, incidents, accidents, injuries or property damage to the Operations Manager and Dispatch.
- Participate in scheduled trainings, briefings and meetings as required.
- Collaborate with Operations Managers and Dispatch to improve route efficiency and address problem or unsafe accounts.
- Assist other drivers and carry out duties assigned by Operations Manager and Dispatch.
- Communicate customer requests, service changes, blocked containers or other route issues to Operations Manager and Dispatch.
- Fully dump containers, clean the site, and position containers to avoid blocking driveways or traffic.
- Follow assigned routes throughout the day and complete all required documentation at the end of the route.

Candidates must be at least 18 years old, legally authorized to work, and have at least one year of recent CDL‑class vehicle experience (or equivalent military driving). A valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License, successful completion of a DOT drug screen, physical exam and background check are required; a high‑school diploma or GED is preferred.
The position demands physical tasks such as standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching and reaching, and may be performed in both indoor facilities and outdoor weather conditions. Reasonable accommodations are available for qualified individuals with disabilities.
