Liaise with the Tarmac C&PP and Irish Cement Finance teams in respect of budget preparation, forecasting, strategic plan preparation, and other processes throughout the year
Support the performance improvement aspect of the Finance’s role, working closely with the UK and Irish finance teams on management information development and process simplification
Offer support and oversight across a range of topics including but not limited to: performance bridges, performance initiatives, Capex approvals and spend, UK CO2 purchase program, weekly sales reporting
Take ownership of ad hoc projects and data analysis as required.
Prepare consolidated reports, high level commentaries, financial analysis, and presentations for key stakeholders as part of the key monthly reporting processes.
Work alongside the Finance Leader to ensure C&PP compliance and engagement with Internal Controls, Internal Audit and External Audit teams, including being a primary point of contact for the co-ordination of SOX activities and process improvement activities in the business.

To be a qualified accountant CIMA, ACCA or ACA and ideally available immediately, or with a short notice period.
A proficiency in Excel is essential, while Power BI skills are valuable.
The ability to communicate effectively with excellent report writing and presentation skills
Demonstrable data analysis and manipulation skills.
A proven ability to manage workflows with multiple stakeholders in an effective manner.
Please note this is a hybrid role in the UK or Ireland, with the need to travel to our Birmingham office once a week.******
