Cut, shape, and smooth lumber and other materials according to measurements
Lay out floorings, roofings, or drywalls, ensuring they are leveled and compatible
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all company and OSHA safety guidelines
Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed
Build window frames, doors, staircases, and frame buildings by using raw materials or pre-constructed items
Assist apprentices in developing their carpentry skills and knowledge
Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
Collaborate with other tradespeople and supervisors to maintain project timelines and quality standards

Active member of the Chicago Regional Council of Carpenters (required).
