Maintenance Professional

Description

• Clean and treat all food and beverage floor drains with enzymes weekly.
• Maintain chemical levels in automatic mechanical systems.
• Complete interior and exterior detailed cleaning assignments as needed.
• Maintain and repair all equipment in the kitchen, events areas, restaurants, offices, rental buildings and public spaces.
• Repair air conditioning, refrigeration, plumbing, and electrical fixtures to manufacturer’s specifications.
• Maintain electrical carts and proper storage and inventory of all supplies.
• Maintain and repair carpets, wall coverings, furniture, painted surfaces, and appliances.
• Report all unsafe conditions immediately and attend all mandatory meetings.
• Repair irrigation or sprinkler systems, and remove and install water heaters.
• Practice preventive maintenance whenever possible.
• Adhere to all work order policies and procedures.
• Maintain work areas clean and organized.
• Change burned-out light bulbs and make other cosmetic repairs as assigned.

Requirements

• 2 - 5 years’ experience in commercial or institutional maintenance environment preferred including HVAC.
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.
• Plumbing or electrical skills, light carpentry, knowledge of paint and wallpaper.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Proficient in reading schematics and work plans.
• HVAC experience required, preventive maintenance background preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
