Position Summary:Dump Truck Operators are responsible for the safe and efficient operation of dump trucks to transport materials such as dirt, gravel, sand, and asphalt at job sites within Hillsborough County. This role involves performing basic vehicle inspections and following all safety protocols and traffic laws.

  • Assist with loading and securing materials for transport.
  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Maintain communication with dispatchers and site supervisors.
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures and obey traffic regulations.
  • Report any maintenance issues or operational concerns.
  • Operate dump trucks to load, transport, and deliver materials as directed.

  • Must have a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL), which is required by law to operate dump trucks in Florida.​
  • Good driving record and ability to follow instructions.
  • Prior experience operating dump trucks or similar heavy vehicles is preferred.
