Roofing Technical Representative

Description

This field‑based role supports the sales and marketing teams by conducting roof inspections, performing measurements and estimates, and traveling overnight when needed.

• Travel to customer sites and inspect commercial roofs for problem areas.
• Measure roofs and estimate required roofing material and labor.
• Provide accurate data to the sales force for proposal creation.
• Support marketing initiatives for new accounts.
• Perform occasional overnight travel as needed.

Requirements

• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and bid estimating software.
• Experience in general construction, roofing, or construction sales.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Ability to climb ladders up to 25 feet safely.
• Knowledge of commercial roofing systems (e.g., thermoplastic, BUR, metal, shingles, tile, SPF foam, coatings) – preferred.
• College degree in construction management or related field – preferred.
