The technician is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of boiler equipment, performing advanced troubleshooting on burners, dual‑fuel combustion, 3‑element feedwater systems, and analog control circuits. Additional duties include preventative maintenance, site surveys, parts identification, and ensuring customer satisfaction through professional service delivery.
The Boiler Service Technician – Level 3 will work full‑time at the Greenville Field location in Greenville, NC. Reporting to the first shift schedule, the role requires a two‑year degree in HVAC or a related technical field and focuses on servicing hot‑water and steam boiler systems in commercial and industrial settings.
Collaboration and safety are core expectations; the employee must promote teamwork, follow all company safety programs, wear appropriate PPE, and report hazards or incidents promptly. Providing responsive, diplomatic customer service and acting as the direct company representative are also essential.
Candidates must hold an associate degree or equivalent in Heating, Ventilation, and Air‑Conditioning and possess at least five years of field experience. Required credentials include a valid driver’s license, Universal EPA certification, and basic proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook.
The position demands significant physical effort, including frequent stooping, climbing, and lifting up to 115 lb, as well as constant standing and walking in varied environments such as outdoors, equipment rooms, and extreme weather conditions. The employee must also be capable of wearing required personal protective equipment and meeting vision and hearing standards.
