  • Utilize available established tools and references in managing the product and the organization
  • Coach and collaborate with all levels of the organization including support teams
  • Maintain and improve the overall safety and 5S condition at the area of responsibility
  • Initiate improvement, corrective and preventive actions on issues hindering the achievement of KPI
  • Uphold and utilize the established company rules and regulations at all times
  • Plan, organize and manage the fabrication, assembly and delivery of orders within the defined lead time

  • Experience in Lean manufacturing is a plus
  • Able to conduct investigation and root cause analysis for issues and troubles encountered daily.
  • Able to conduct meetings, implement 5S and conduct safety hazard identification
  • Experienced in managing and leading a group of unionized employees is an asset
  • Ability to multitask
  • High School Diploma or 2 years in a manufacturing leadership role.
  • Drive and the achievement of key performance indicator (KPI)
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to champion changes for improvement
  • Comfortable with the use of Microsoft Word, Office, Teams and Outlook and intermediate skills in Excel is a plus but not required
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience in welding and liquid paint is a plus.
  • Knowledge and experience in ERP system is a plus but not required.
  • Experience in metal fabrication, assembly, finishing and shipment.
