The leader will provide oversight and mentorship, recruit new talent, and create an empowering work environment through clear expectations, regular feedback, and recognition. They will manage multiple high‑visibility projects, offering subject‑matter expertise while driving operational excellence in profitability, efficiency, resource allocation, and quality. In addition, the leader will cultivate client relationships and work with business‑development and marketing teams to develop winning strategies for new pursuits.
Candidates must hold an active Florida Professional Engineering license and a bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil or environmental engineering from an ABET‑accredited program. At least ten years of progressive water‑resources design experience, including storm‑water management for transportation infrastructure, is required. Proven abilities in technical guidance, staff mentoring, business development, project and budget management, and strong communication and organizational skills are essential. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, MicroStation OpenRoads, and drainage design software such as ICPR, HY‑8, and HEC tools is also expected.
