Description

In this role you will define and execute the strategic vision for improving wind turbine and park performance using advanced measurement methods, sophisticated data analyses and statistical modelling.

You will be responsible for developing and applying methods for performance‑curve guarantees, performance testing, measurement campaigns and post‑commissioning yield assessments, as well as interpreting contractual performance requirements and handling guarantee claims.

• Lead development and implementation of methods for performance‑curve guarantees, testing, measurement campaigns and post‑commissioning yield assessments.
• Interpret and validate contractual performance requirements; monitor guarantee administration and resolve disputes.
• Design and oversee performance‑measurement strategies in line with international standards, ensuring rigorous instrumentation and data acquisition for offshore turbines.
• Innovate data‑validation, filtering and statistical analysis processes to provide actionable insights for project and operations teams.
• Drive continuous optimisation of business processes, workflows and cross‑departmental consistency to enhance efficiency and best‑practice adoption.
• Produce and review technical documentation; contribute to tender preparation, risk assessments and procurement decisions.
• Stay current with technological advances and evolving industry standards; continuously improve internal tools and methodologies.
• Mentor and support junior staff, fostering knowledge sharing and organisational expertise.

Requirements

The ideal candidate holds a master’s degree or higher in engineering, renewable energy, physics or a related field, possesses at least ten years of wind‑industry experience with a focus on performance testing, and is proficient with data‑analysis tools such as Python, WindPRO, Windographer or OpenWind.

• Hold a master’s degree or higher in engineering, renewable energy, physics or a related discipline.
• Bring at least ten years of wind‑industry experience focused on performance testing and analysis.
• Demonstrate in‑depth knowledge of IEC 61400‑12 series and related industry standards.
• Proven experience managing performance‑curve guarantee processes and claims for large offshore projects.
• Proficiency with data‑analysis tools such as Python, WindPRO, Windographer, OpenWind or equivalents.
• Exhibit strong analytical, organisational and communication skills, and the ability to lead cross‑functional teams.
