Provides engineering, project management & digital solutions for complex infrastructure in regulated sectors.
Key responsibilities include carrying out design calculations per industry codes, including earthquake loading, and selecting cost‑effective solutions that satisfy space, customer, and UK regulatory requirements. The engineer will work closely with the CAD team to produce fabrication drawings and equipment specifications, present designs at internal technical reviews, and liaise with fabricators to bring designs to reality.
Candidates should have experience with Eurocode 3, BS EN 1090, and an understanding of permissible stress design codes for piping supports. Experience designing access platforms, complex steelwork for pipe supports, and knowledge of standard steel components, tolerances, and on‑site installation are essential. Strong planning, communication, and teamwork skills are also required.
