Snr Project Manager (Remediation Division Lead) | DG Solar | Upstate NY

Description

• Oversee and coordinate solar PV projects at existing facilities across the U.S., with a focus on New York State,
• Facilitate communication with internal teams, utilities, and external stakeholders,
• Conduct site inspections (pre-work, execution, and post-work) to ensure quality and scope adherence,
• Provide reporting on safety, environmental, technical, and financial performance.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, and schedules while ensuring compliance with HSE, environmental, and regulatory standards,
• Prepare and evaluate bid packages, negotiate contracts, and authorize work/change orders,
• Manage contractors, subcontractors, engineering consultants, and equipment vendors to ensure safe, efficient project execution,

Requirements

• Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, and Smartsheet.
• Proven track record managing contractors, vendors, utilities, and independent engineers,
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent,
• Experience with QA/QC, commissioning, and safety/environmental regulations,
• Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, construction, and O&M practices,
• 5+ years of project management experience in solar PV projects from a construction and/or O&M perspective,
• Exposure to complex and technically challenging solar projects across the U.S.,
