As part of a team, perform engineering design tasks for transportation and/or municipal projects including studies, preliminary engineering, and final design.
Establish working relationships and contacts with client technical staff and project managers especially in PennDOT, local governments, and private clients.
Develop construction contract documents including plans, specifications, cost estimates.

Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
Prior experience with Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and/or Pennsylvania Turnpike projects is desirable, but not required.
Learn about different aspects of highway and municipal design including construction staging, stormwater management, traffic signals, highway design and interchange layout, landscaping, utilities, sidewalks/trails, culverts, and bridges.
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or equivalent is required
Fundamentals of Engineering (PE) License registered in Pennsylvania or the ability to obtain within 1 year is required
Knowledge of civil/site design, highway design, stormwater management design, utilities, and permitting is desirable, but not required.
