The Field Engineer supports project operations by assisting the Construction Manager and Superintendent with short‑term schedules, shop drawings, submittals, subcontractor and material scheduling, coordination meetings, as‑built drawings, job cost, procurement, and field operations. Key tasks include generating concrete placement and three‑week look‑ahead schedules, conducting planning meetings, tracking daily quality‑control reports, reporting schedule progress in USACE Resident Management Software, documenting change‑order work, participating in daily huddles, and maintaining client and inspector relationships.
Additional responsibilities involve assisting the buyout process, writing requisitions, attending subcontractor coordination meetings, complying with safety policies, participating in daily Task Safety Awareness and weekly Safety Meetings, and performing work with integrity and professionalism.
Required qualifications include proficiency in Excel, Word, P6 scheduling, USACE RMS, and Bluebeam; ability to read plans and specs; strong written and verbal communication; effective relationship‑building; initiative, organization, and planning skills; and a minimum of 5–10 years of field experience. Candidates must be able to meet deadlines and lift up to 50 lb.
