Schedule and assign daily tasks for shop personnel; manage workloads efficiently
Collaborate directly with leadership in a supportive and respectful work environment
Ensure compliance with all safety standards, including CVOR and inspection requirements
Coordinate third-party vendors, subcontractors, and purchasing of parts/consumables
Handle transportation logistics, equipment floats, and insurance requirements
Track fleet performance and ensure adherence to manufacturers’ maintenance guidelines
Train, mentor, and develop mechanics and shop team members
Manage work orders (manual and electronic), documentation, and maintenance logs
Oversee CVOR updates and permit renewals
Coordinate with site teams to plan equipment availability and minimize downtime
Oversee all day-to-day equipment repairs and preventative maintenance
Monitor and improve shop and yard organization, cleanliness, and general upkeep

Proven experience leading a team of mechanics or shop personnel

Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
