What you would be doing

- Interviews prospective tenants and records information to ascertain needs and qualifications.
- Inspects condition of premises periodically and arranges for necessary maintenance.
- Assists with eviction of tenants in compliance with court order and directions from supervisor.
- Compiles listings of available rental property.
- Responds to emergency calls and situations as required.
- Completes lease form or agreement and collects rental deposit.
- Handles electronic and manual bookkeeping functions, or credits renter account for receipts and debits account for disbursements such as upkeep and maintenance costs for assigned property.
- Coordinates moving, inspections, dealing with tenant issues and related items.
- Prepares vacancy, occupancy, traffic, reports and turnover schedules, etc. for internal use and external agency compliance.
- Requests issuance of check for monies due residents.
