The analyst will collect, integrate, analyze, and visualize large volumes of all‑source geospatial information, creating advanced mapping, imagery, and visualization products for both tactical and strategic audiences. They will design, develop, populate, and maintain all‑source geospatial databases, and develop custom scripts and tools to automate data extraction, ingestion, and integration. Collaboration includes building near real‑time GIS situational awareness displays and ensuring quality assurance for all ingested data.
Candidates must possess in‑depth knowledge of GIS concepts, software, cartography, and production, along with strong visualization skills and the ability to perform under pressure. Required technical proficiencies include ESRI ArcGIS 10.x, ArcSDE, Spatial Analyst, Military Analyst, Google Earth, Remote View, VII, Photoshop, and programming in VBA, Visual Basic, ArcObjects, or Python. Desired experience includes automating workflows, integrating disparate data streams, and familiarity with emerging GIS technologies.
