The analyst will provide engineering expertise for the design, development, implementation, and sustainment of IT solutions that enhance system performance and availability. They will obtain requirements, develop Agile‑Scrum documentation, provide pre‑implementation training, and support production outage resolution. Additionally, they will create work items in Azure DevOps, analyze Mainframe JCL and utilities, and perform testing to ensure quality.
- Provide engineering expertise for design, development, implementation, and sustainment of IT solutions.
- Supply functional knowledge and perform tasks for assigned applications.
- Gather requirements from customers and users.
- Develop documentation following Agile Scrum best practices and NAVSUP BSC Service Delivery Model.
- Deliver pre‑implementation training resources to customers/users.
- Support resolution of production outages.
- Create and update work items in Azure DevOps (AzDO).
- Analyze Mainframe JCL and utility system requirements and convert designs into code.
- Perform testing based on acceptance criteria and definition of done to ensure quality.

Candidates should have strong proficiency with Mainframe JCL and utilities, along with solid data analysis skills. Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical ability, attention to detail, and flexibility to adapt to changing business needs are required. A minimum of two years of college or work experience plus three years in Agile, five years in requirements elicitation, CompTIA Security+, U.S. citizenship, and the ability to obtain a base access pass and NACI clearance are also required. Travel is minimal (<5%) and the position is remote.
