The Survey Intern assists surveyors, staff engineers, and supervisors with a range of technical duties in surveying, construction, operations, and maintenance. The role involves gathering the data needed to complete surveys for the company and supports field crews throughout the project lifecycle.

Perform selected survey assignments quickly and accurately.
Conduct site, boundary, topographic, plot plan, roadway utility, and subdivision surveys.
Prepare and set up survey files for field crews.
Record field notes and organize equipment.
Compute grade sheets.
Research deeds and filed maps for boundary analysis.
Produce topographic/as‑built surveys or boundary sketch drawings.
Prepare metes & bounds descriptions.
Convert project datum and perform transformations.
Engaging team‑building events (trivia, sports leagues, mini‑golf, BBQs, happy hours, etc.).

0–2 years of surveying experience.
Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a vehicle.

Strong technical background and OSHA 10/40 safety training.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project).
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Independent and critical thinking abilities.
