Coordinates with leadership and communicates work assignments as needed daily.
Serves as the primary point-of-contact to carriers for incoming and outgoing shipments.
Serves as a trainer to new and current Team Members; answer questions and provide guidance; provide equipment training and set an example to others within the Distribution Centers.
Serves as a safety champion and promotes the use of safe work habits and equipment; conducts regular visual safety inspection of forklifts and other bulk handling equipment.
Identifies document and reports technical and/ or personnel problems to management.
Assists inventory control in the identification of appropriate storage/holding location for incoming materials.
Maintains documentation and records, and produce written reports, in accordance with policies and procedures.
Supports the inventory control team to conduct physical audit and inventory counts; identify and resolve count discrepancies; evaluate the cause for discrepancies and address to mitigate reoccurrence.
Provides general guidance and day to day daily direction for the team member activities within the distribution centers that include but not limited to; order processing, picking, shipping, and overall customer order accuracy within the distribution center to meet customer needs and OTIF metric.
Works overtime as needed to support customer order requirements.
Identifies and document shipment discrepancies including percentage accuracy, defective reason codes, and corrections.
Function as the subject matter expert to assist others with questions or process related issues in both EWM and SAP system tools.
Ensures distribution standards are maintained; keep the team informed of daily quota requirements to meet business needs.

Ability to operate large distribution and packaging equipment (i.e. stretch wrap machine).
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance.
Proficiency using a Personal Computer (PC) to include Microsoft Word and Outlook.
Ability to work flexible, non-traditional hours when necessary.
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a diverse environment and across the Company.
Knowledge of distribution/warehousing standards and processes in a CPG environment.
Knowledge of bulk parcel shipping methods and requirements (i.e. FedEx and UPS).
Proficiency using an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), preferably SAP and/or Extended Warehouse Management System (EWM)
Good communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate in English both verbally and in writing.
Ability to work in a constant state of alertness
