Property Manager

Description

• Manage budgets, control expenses, and boost revenue.
• Help mentor and develop the property management team, cultivating a positive and productive work environment.
• Shape our property management approach by implementing smart policies and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with accounting on financial reports and optimize revenue streams through rent collection, expense control, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Drive lease negotiations and maintain high occupancy rates.
• Keep our portfolio running smoothly during day-to-day operations, ensuring performance targets and investor standards, are met
• Be our eyes on the ground and conduct regular property inspections for safety, maintenance, and compliance.
• Manage service contracts, vendors, and property management team to ensure cost-effective and high-quality service.
• Serve as the primary tenant point of contact, ensuring satisfaction and resolving issues promptly.

Requirements

• Exceptional organizational, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated experience in budgeting, financial reporting, and cost control.
• Proficiency in property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio, MRI) and/or Microsoft Office Suite.
• In-depth knowledge of property management laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
• 3+ years of progressive property management experience, with a strong emphasis on mixed-use (residential and commercial) properties.
• Must be highly organized, and able to multitask in a fast paced environment.
• Real Estate License or CPM designation a plus.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple properties effectively.
