The Treasury Analyst role supports liquidity management, banking operations, and cash‑forecasting processes. The analyst executes payments, optimizes cash positioning, and delivers treasury reporting while collaborating closely with Accounting, which retains full ownership of bank reconciliations.
Key duties include monitoring daily cash positions, preparing short‑ and medium‑term cash flow forecasts, executing electronic payments, maintaining banking templates, generating regular treasury reports, and assisting with variance analysis. The analyst also acts as a primary contact for routine banking matters, supports compliance with segregation‑of‑duties controls, and contributes to process‑improvement projects such as automation and SOP updates.
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, and have 1–3 years of experience in treasury or financial operations. Proficiency in Excel is required, and familiarity with ERP or treasury management systems is an asset. Strong integrity, bilingual communication skills in English and French, and the ability to work independently while collaborating across functions are essential.
