Mid-Level Architectural Historian

Mid-level architectural historian responsible for conducting research, fieldwork, and report preparation for architectural history projects, and providing mentorship and project management support to junior staff in the Upper-Midwest region.
Coordinate with other Stantec staff to ensure the quality of data, field work, and documentation
Conduct background research, built environment field work, developing contextual analysis, making recommendations of NRHP eligibility, and report preparation
Assist seniorlevel staff with scoping and managing projects

Experience interpreting the Secretary of Interior’s Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties
Master’s degree in Historic Preservation, Public History, History, or closely related field
Experience writing and producing Section 106related technical reports; strong writing and research skills
Extensive knowledge and experience working with Section 106 of National Historic Preservation Act, including working through all steps of the 106 review process (initiate, identify, assess effects, and resolve adverse effects)
