1 year of industry experience.
Ability to conceptualize and design intermediate fixtures.
Pass welding tests: 3G/FCAW, 1G/GMAW-MC, and 3G/GMAW-SC.
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use basic fixtures.
Ability to read and interpret advanced blueprints.
Ability to read process sheets, cut lists, tolerances, and basic prints.
Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently on routine tasks.
Ability to fully fit beams, columns, and miscellaneous metals.
Ability to fit complex components such as curved rails, stairs, and canopies.
Advanced mechanical aptitude and math skills.
Supervisory experience overseeing up to 5 Fitters.
Minimum of 5 years of industry experience.
Intermediate math skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documents.
Work in high places, tight places, confined spaces and/or other adverse locations
Lift, move, and/or carry up to 50 lbs.
Intermediate math including some geometry and trigonometry.
Minimum of 7 years of industry experience.
All Fitter 2 qualifications plus:
Read and use a tape measure accurately.
