The role of Project Engineer – Automation requires a minimum of five years of relevant experience or equivalent. The engineer works alongside project managers, technical leads, and other engineers, leads technical planning, participates in customer meetings to provide equipment expertise, defines and oversees multiple objectives, and conducts research on SEL and third‑party equipment, OT network solutions, and emerging technologies.
Key skill requirements include understanding project scope relative to budget, ownership of schedules, strong professional communication, designing control logic and network configurations, analyzing electrical one‑line drawings, schematics, and bills of material, and experience with IEC‑61850, DNP, Modbus, SCADA, and HMI applications. The position also requires willingness to travel at least 50% of the time domestically and abroad.
