Primary contact with applicants. Will perform tasks within Housing Connect 2.0, Affordable Rent Café and Yardi.
Monitor adherence to all contractual, regulatory, and programmatic obligations for the Willets Point development.
Maintain current knowledge of changes in housing and development regulations.
Perform all file qualification functions of a lease-up
Partner with Compliance team peers, Compliance Admins and others as required to meet lease-up goals and targets.
Ensure compliance with affordable housing program requirements, including but not limited to HPD, HDC, LIHTC, and other funding sources.
Maintain detailed and organized records of all compliance activities, approvals, and correspondence.
Work with the Compliance Managers to ensure proper screening, income verification, and certification of residents in accordance with program guidelines.
Prepare, collect, review and submit, certifications, and supporting documentation for various oversight agencies.

Experience preparing compliance reports, audits, and regulatory filings.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with compliance tracking systems preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Urban Planning, Real Estate, Business, or a related field preferred.
Minimum 3–5 years in compliance, affordable housing, or property management within a real estate development or management environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
Strong working knowledge of affordable housing programs (LIHTC, HUD, HPD, HDC, etc.) and associated compliance requirements.
Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
